NEW: Design Project after school event. Student are invited to stay after school this week -- Monday and Tuesday Nov. 3rd and 4th-- to work on their home design project. While most students will be able to finish work in class, we encourage anyone who is interested to stay after to work on those important final touches!
Math Tutoring is every Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 pm. This tutoring session is designed for students who need guided help with their math homework and a review of basic math skills. Please contact me if you are interested in your child attending!
Math Homework Club is every Thursday after school from 3:00 - 3:45 pm (during carpool). Please encourage your child to come if they have particular questions about the homework. No advanced notice necessary -- students may come whenever they need help!
Link to the "Homework" tab for extra copies of weekly homework and due dates. Also check out the Figure This! weekly family math problems. These problems are a great way to do math at home and help work on problem solving skills. Answers are included!
Check out "HW Website Help" for links to online applets and math games to review skills with whole numbers and fractions, measurement, geometry, algebra, statistics and probability! Also use "Ask Dr. Math," the online "Math Dictionary," and the "EOG Review book" from grade 6 whenever you need extra help with homework.
